Indymedia is a collective of independent media organizations and journalists offering grassroots, non-corporate coverage. Indymedia is a democratic media outlet for the creation of radical, accurate and passionate tellings of the truth.

The Long Island Independent Media Center project seeks to unify the voices of those that have been marginalized by the centralization of corporate-owned media institutions.
