Every Windows user is aware of the fact that it doesn't matter how fantastically enormous your hard drive is, various information will eventually take all of it. Contemporary applications and media content become really ravenous when it comes to gigabytes. Do you analyze analyze disk space?

To make things even worse, lots of programs establish temporary and-or system files that could be huge and difficult to find. 90 per cent of the time they eliminate everything they have created at the end of each session or when you uninstall them. However as time moves on, more and more unerased garbage begins to slow down your PC. A couple of months later you might even have to clean up the hard disk manually using a formatting program and then install the operating system anew.

Except such extreme ways of occupied disk space management, you must have come across some traditional ways to arrange and handle files and folders.

Using standard programs might be a fine idea if you use mostly My Documents folder to store your things. Unfortunately, few people are so organized when it comes to their computers. It is not rare for some of us to get impulsive when picking a folder name. The folder will be still there even after the impulse has gone. And that is the moment when regular applications function unsufficiently good.

It is not so easy to show folders size. Try finding large files and folders using conventional programs and you will see how difficult it is. They are slow even on advanced machines when it comes to calculating the size of directories. You will have to manually look for files or folders that occupy the biggest part of the space on your drive. There are times when these files are so well camouflaged, that they are virtually impossible to be found.
