History says that the first slot machine was constructed by American workman Charles Fey in 1887. Based in San Francisco, they were homemade and proposed to local mini-casinos in an agreement with possessors to have a 50% rental fee for their usage. In 1907 Charles Fey entered into an agreement with Mills Novelty Company and they started manufacturing a huge amount of slot machines. The first produce named the Mills Liberty Bell. 3 years later, the Mills Company designed the very first fruit symbol slot machine named the Operator Bell. The early slot machines weighted a lot, so it was a very complicated task to transport the slot machine from one casino to another.
