There are three types of human interactions: conversational, transactional and collaborative.

Understanding their differences is necessary to secure that an appropriate software application is selected to meet your needs.

Conversational interaction is an exchange of ideas and an interaction of transaction is an exchange of a transaction substance between two or more people involeved, whereas collaborative interaction is meant for a change of a substance of collaboration, ex.: reaching a common goal.

Collaborative interactions are organized in such a way that the key goal of those involved is to modify the collaboration substance from what used to be unstable and immaterial, for example, an idea, into a useful solution, for example a blueprint.

Collaborative Software is one of groupware programs that facilitate seamless teamwork between your workers, department staff, project team members, panels, etc.

The power of these tools can be found in the ability to allow project activists to manage action plans, share documents, track projects, moderate schedules, optimize business processes, be promptly notified of any tasks and events they are involved in. There are a number of approaches to making these applications useful: scheduling events, papers and projects, optimizing business processes and coordinating work of two or more business units or even companies.

The word automation has become quite popular recently. That is not a problem to search out the company that provides the solutions for this issue. At the first view those programs have many benefits. They are often being sold in the attractive shiny packages. Having analyzed all the factors for and against the utilizing of such programs, I arrive at conclusion that there are 5 reasons for the managers not to utilize stuff management programs.

Reason 1: It is not a program for free. Almost all available employee management software is not freeware. Remember that the updates, support and maintenance also require some fee. A lot of people simply do not pay attention to the price of this type of programs. If you distinctly see how the advantages do it, pay. In case you don't, keep the money. Money is the lesser evil.
